Farranfore is an excellent base for touring County Kerry, half-way between the towns of Tralee and Killarney. It is near the Ring of Kerry route and is also the location of Kerry's regional airport.
Killarney, one of Ireland’s most famous holiday destinations, is only 14km away. Here, you can take in the magnificent scenery of the McGillycuddy Reeks and the town’s magical lakes. You can play a round of golf at one of Killarney’s famous golf courses or you can choose one of the excellent fishing spots to test your angling skills.
Tralee, home of the world-famous Rose of Tralee festival, is a similar distance from Farranfore. Tralee has plenty of attractions for children, including the Aqua Dome water park and Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre.
This pretty cottage consists of four comfortable bedrooms, all of which are tastefully decorated throughout. Bed linen and towels are supplied free and the cottage is comfortably heated with oil-fired central heating and an open solid fuel fire to relax near at night.
Ground-floor rooms are available for the elder members of the family. There are two double rooms, one single, and one twin upstairs.
An enclosed private courtyard front and back makes it safe for children to play.
