Coby Chambaud from France is a regular visitor to Ireland’s sunny south-east. Coby was glad to share her experiences of holidaying in Ireland with her family.
Because we know this area very well and like the quiet South-East side of Ireland
No special recommendation
We love the Hook Head peninsula, take often the ferry to Passage East/Ballyhack, we visited Waterford, New Ross and the Dunbrody Famine Ship, Carrick-on-Suir, Clonmel, Dungarvan, Tintern Abbey, Dunbrody Abbey, we pushed to the Wicklow Mountains and love Wexford town (and the Library)..
We loved it all! That’s why we always come back!!!!!!
Family visits in Wexford Area, and nice countrysides. Not especially close to a town. No pool, baby facilities, nos pecial outdoor activities …
We loved Rose Cottage because of its cosy atmosphere and the farm next by. The pleasant surprise was the warm welcome of the owners and the flowers and the short bread for the tea.
The quiet surroundings.
No special remarks.
Yes, we already recommend Duncannon to friends and French and Dutch family, it will mostly appeal seniors, but Rose Cottage is very nice for children because of the farm.
This year a week’s holiday near Kilmore Quay, next year an extra week for family visits in Kilkenny.
Favourite places are South and South-East coast, not the touristic West side of Ireland. And of course sometimes a short break to visit Dublin.
